Tellisa Mae Clarke, 45, of Lebanon, died Thursday afternoon, Jan. 11, 2018, in Mercy Hospital Springfield.
She was born Dec. 25, 1972 to Danny and Florine Finley Tollison, and was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
Tellisa was born and raised in the Modesto, Calif. area. She graduated from Davis High School in Modesto and later became an LPN. She spent many years as a caregiver and nanny for her niece Lillly.
She loved playing with her children, and then her grandchildren throughout her life. She also had a special fondness for her dog, Wyatt. She enjoyed fishing and was proud to be “just one of the boys.’’
Survivors include two daughters, Danyell Tollison, of Lebanon and Eugina Higgins, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sons, Nathan McLaughlin, of Lebanon; David Dunham, of Lebanon, and Shane Dunham, of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Keaton Taylor and Michael Taylor, both of Lebanon; a niece and best friend, Lilly Lowery; a great nephew, Landon Lowery, and a cousin and special friend, Charlene Lowery.
Funeral services for Tellisa Mae Clarke will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Visitation will be following the service at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
Memorial donations to Pediatric Disabled Children may be made at the funeral home.
