ROBERT RAYMOND “BOB’’ CALLAHAN

Robert Raymond “Bob’’ Callahan, 84, of Richland, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, in Osage Beach.
He was born July 30, 1933, in Akron, Iowa to Fred P. and Linda Kelsen Callahan, who preceded him in death.
On Sept. 24, 1959, he married Doris Marie Wells.
He served our country in the United States Army for two years. He returned to Richland and worked for Cowan’s Clothing Stores, Tri-County Service Station, and drove a truck for Caldwell’s Oil Company and Daniel Company. He retired in 1968.
Bob was a member of First Baptist Church in Richland.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Callahan; one son, Steve Callahan and Margie, of Kissimmeee, Fla.; one daughter, Diana Marie Callahan and William Fritts, of Richland; one brother, John Patrick Callahan and Mary, of Lewisville, Texas; nieces and nephews, John and Marlene Donald, of Lebanon; Kay and Mark Struckhoff, of Springfield; Denise Callahan, of Fort Worth, Texas and Kendra Friewald, of Southlake, Texas; two grandchildren, Steven Callahan and Brittany, and Jessica Callahan; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Robert Raymond “Bob’’ Callahan will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Richland with Bob Lilly and David Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. until service time also at First Baptist Church in Richland.
