Robert “Bob’’ Hale Clark, 89, of Lebanon, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018.
He was born Nov. 3, 1928, Bridgeport, Ct. to Homer Clark and Beatrice Bates Cook, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Gordon Clark, Charles Clark, and Sheldon Clark.
Bob attended Bassick High School in Bridgeport, Ct. and graduated in 1946.
He served six years in the Naval Reserves at NRSD and USN and MCRTC in Compton, Calif.
He worked for Foremost Dairy for 17 years delivering ice cream.
When his family moved to Missouri, he owned a sandwich shop and diner for 15 years.
He was very active in his church. Prior to attending Dove Bible Church, he was a member of the Assemblies of God Church in Lebanon. He was a lay preacher and  youth director.
Survivors include three sisters, Marian Adolphson, of Connecticut; Betty Reynolds, of California, and Doris Harrington, of Florida; a sister-in-law, Betty Clark, of Massachusetts; five sons, Robert Clark and his wife, Lynn, of Cottonwood, Ariz.; James Clark, of Portland, Ore.; Kenneth Clark and his wife, Jan, of La Habra, Calif.; Byron Clark, of Vancouver, Wash. and Richard Clark and his wife, Julie, of Lebanon; a daughter, Linda Accordo and her husband, Frank, of Grants Pass, Ore.; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a slew more “adopted’’ grandchildren; many nieces and nephews scattered across the country.
A memorial service for Robert “Bob’’ Hale Clark will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at Lebanon Assembly of God Church in Lebanon with the Rev. Jeff DeLong and the Rev. Kevin Boggs officiating.
A memorial visitation will follow the service until 12:30 p.m. Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Ltd. — DeGraffenreid-Wood-Crematory, Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Bob’s name may be made to Lebanon Assembly of God Church Missions in Lebanon to focus on local mission work.
