Felecita Lane, 80, of Lebanon, died Friday morning April 13, 2018 in Mercy Hospital, Lebanon.
She was born June 1, 1937 in Puerto Rico to Salvador and Juanita Rodriguez Castro.
On July 28, 1968, she married William Bill J. Lane.
She was born and raised in Puerto Rico and graduated from the university of Puerto Rico. She continued to make her home in Puerto Rico and taught school for several years. In 1970, she came to the United States and made her home in Florida for 10 years. She and Bill then made their home near Plato and Felicita was a substitute teacher for the Plato schools, She was also a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. She later worked as a seamstress at Fort Leonard Wood for some time and did private sewing for other people.
Felicita had made her profession of faith in Christ and was an active member of the Plato Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Salvador; and a sister, Carmen.
She is survived by her husband Bill of the home; a son, George Lane and is wife Kathy, of Lebanon; a daughter, Debbie Das of Madison, Ala.; and four grandchildren, Dalton, Elijah, Bianca and Kyle.
Services for Felecita Lane will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Holman-Howe Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Competition Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to Kindness Connection for the Plato Kindergarten Class may be made through the funeral home.
