Daisey Faye Duncan

Daisey Faye Duncan, 84, of Brumley, died Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

She was born July 16, 1932, in Miller County, Mo. to Fred and Parthena (Luttrell) Witt.
On Feb. 15, 1954, she married Frank Duncan, who preceded her in death on April 7, 1998. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Zeda Cochran; an infant son, one granddaughter, Kayla Shreve; a grandson, Myron Fry; a sister, Dorsie Huddleston, and two brothers, Dorlis and Donnie Witt.

She attended Glover Chapel Church of Christ near Richland.

Survivors include five children, Rita Lawson and husband, Rick, of Springfield; Frankie Duncan, of Dixon; Sue Piggott and husband, Dan, of Iberia; Rick Duncan and wife, Vonda, of Brumley, and Nita Cochran and husband, Buffy, of Brumley; one son-in-law, Jim Cochran, of Iberia; 13 grandchildren, Corey Piggott, Trent Cochran, Keisha Lawson, Ozie Eaton, LeeAnn Vines, Ernie Vines, Casey Piggott, Megan Sherrell, Morgan Duncan, Malarie Duncan, Seth Duncan, Dalton Cochran, and Cayley Cochran; 16 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Delcie Chloe Lawson.

Funeral services for Daisey Faye Duncan will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Warren Mitchell officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Union Cemetery near Brumley.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Mount Union Cemetery.
