LHS Heritage Trip 2018 was an unforgettable experience to say the least. On our final day in New York City we started off with the early morning Heritage Trip tradition of going to the Today Show at NBC Studios. We got to see Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, and take a selfie with Craig Melvin. Along with meeting these popular celebrities, we were also on live T.V. As we were leaving, some of us saw Hoda walking down the street, said hello, and even talked to her. Then we went to the Top of the Rock and looked out over the city. The city stretched out as far as the eye could see and we were able to see famous landmarks such as Central Park and the Empire State Building.
Next we broke up into small groups to explore the city one last time. Some went shopping down 5th Avenue. They went to places such as Tiffany’s, Lulus, Free People, and Kate Spade to name a few. After that, some went to Central Park and Trump Tower. Another group went to Little Italy for lunch and China Town to shop.  There seemed to be “just one more thing” we all needed to see and find.
