Hillcrest Education Center is seeking donations to provide Christmas gifts to students.
Scott Williams, director of Hillcrest Education Center, said most of their students qualify for free or reduced lunches, are in foster homes or are considered at risk. He said the school is asking for donations to help these students.
“Your donation would help enable us to provide much needed items to our students for Christmas,” Williamson wrote in a letter seeking contributions. “This donations can be a monetary or tangible item. For many of our students the gifts given through donations to our school will be the only gifts they receive during the holiday season.”
